ALMOND OIL FOR SKIN CARE

Almond oil has been my all time favorite oil..particularly for skin care.This oil is derived from dried almonds through cold processing..My skin loves this stuff soo much!! It has oleic and linoleic acids,vitamins E,A and D in it.I never breakout with almond oil even though I am more prone to breakouts with oils in general.I replaced my serum with almond oil in my night time skin routine a few months back and I noticed visible results.I started using it on my face because my mom noticed a few fine lines appearing on my forehead and she told me to use almond oil. I have seen an improvement in the appearance of those lines and my face feels baby soft.

A little goes a long way and this is soo cheap.I got this 4 oz bottle 4 months back at Drug Emporium for 3-4$ and you can see in the pic that I haven't even completed half of it.All you need is just a very tiny amount to spread on your face..and then follow up with a regular moisturizer.I also use this as a replacement to my eye cream at night..I take a generous amount of almond oil on my ring finger and rub it in between my two ring fingers and then massage it around my eyes and orbital bone.Almond oil is known for reducing dark circles and wrinkles.This oil has become my life savior..I sometimes use it on my lips..and I will be left with a smooth baby soft lips.I also use it as a makeup remover sometimes.Mostly,I use coconut oil.But almond oil works good too.I also use it in DIY hairsprays and DIY leave in conditioners n serums.This is a wonderful split end protector..May be I am diverting to hair care! since this post is about skin care..I will discuss its use for hair in another blog post.

When you are buying almond oil to use it in skin care, check if the phrase "100% pure almond oil" is written or not.Sweet almond oil also works.But make sure it is 100%.So..why buy tons of products when you can get all your skin care done with one product?? This is my go to skin care item on lazy days when I dont feel like layering my skin with many products.

FREEMAN FACIAL ANTI-STRESS DEAD SEA MINERALS MASK REVIEW

The freeman brand has different kinds of masks and this is one of my favorites. This pretty blue clay mask claims to instantly absorb excess oil while clarifying and purging clogged pores.This mask contains Dead Sea minerals and that is what I like most about this mask.Dead sea minerals help you in getting a healthy glowing skin and the sea salts in this mask help replenish and balance moisture.The smell of this mask is amazing.. The lavender and bergamot extracts present in this mask aid in stress relief and promote a relaxing aromatherapy.

  

PROS: 

   *good stress relieving mask for a good price (3-4$ Regular price but you can get it on sale at     target,    ulta many times a year.. And that is when I stock up freeman masks).                  

   * This clay mask removes excess oil and keeps the skin balanced.                      

   * contains natural, botanical extracts like lavender, bergamot,sea salt.             

  CONS: * contains blue dye.                   

              *contains parabens.                               

              * not suitable for extremely dry skin.          

DIRECTIONS TO USE: Apply mask to face and neck, avoiding contact with eyes. Let dry and rinse with warm water. Use two times a week or often as needed.                                               

 DO I RECOMMEND THIS: Yes, but I recommend treating ur face with this occasionally as this stuff has parabens in it.

                        WHAT TO WEAR WHEN YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR

Even though my wardrobe is filled with clothes,I don't find a right outfit to wear on a few days.I would not be able to decide what to wear for that day..Is it the same case with you?Or are you on a budget and just started to build your wardrobe??Whatever the case may be.. here are some ideas and wardrobe must haves that u can never go wrong with:

1)Denim short and few tank tops: This is a summer-wardrobe must have for any girl.This can be your go to outfit for hanging out with friends,shopping,college etc.

2)Little black dress: Your wardrobe just cant be complete without a cute little black dress.You can never go wrong with a LBD whether it is for a party in the daylight or for a rocking night in the pub or for a date night.You can style it accordingly with a few accessories. You will certainly rock the floor with LBD.

3)Blue Jeans and a few tshirts: No one can ever imagine a girl's wardrobe without at least a single pair of blue Jeans..whether it is skinny or boot cut jeans.Just pair it up with a t shirt for that casual look u want or a nice elegant blouse for that dressy and trendy look.

4)Plaid shirt: Plaids give us an opportunity to play with colors. Pair it up with that denim short or blue jeans you love..and gal!!! You will look fabulous! Wanna sport a rough yet feminine look..then wear a tank  top underneath and wear ur plaid shirt on top unbuttoned..or u can juz knot it for that extra tough look.

5) Black legging: Pair it up with a long tunic or a comfy sweater and u r ready to go!!!

6)Statement jewelry: You definitely need to own these statement pieces to give extra boost to your plain outfits and make the outfit look sooo like uu!!

7)Floral dress: Whether it is a day on the beach or a nice spring day..or a day out ..floral dress can never go out of style!!You can sport any kind of look---from flirty to feminine ..with a lovely floral dress.

8)Tailored pants and blouse: If you a working lady or having a conference/seminar and trying to sport an office-friendly,formal look..this can save your day when you are in a rush!!

9)A simple dress and a thigh length coat: This can be a stylish outfit for those winter days and if it extra chilly,juz pair it up with knee length boots and some tights!

10)Black shirt: whether it is a day to sport a casual look or a semi formal look..u cannot be let down by a black shirt..Juz button it up for that semi-formal look or juz unbutton or knot it with a black/white tanktop underneath for a casual look.

11)Cardigans and comfy sweaters: These marvellous pieces should definitely find a place in your wardrobe.Cardigans are the best way to add spice to ur outfit or to cover up that sleeveless dress u love..at school.Pair this outfit with a cute belt and u look chick!! Comfy sweaters are a must have for that chilly days..thus keeping u cozy  n warm and at the same time making you look stylish and confident! 

12)black skirt: You can pair it with tshirts or blouses depending on the occasion.It is a fashion musthave!!

These are a few recipes I have experimented and found results.You can experiment with different ingredients to know which mixture gives you best results.Do a patch test before you try out any pack.
